Free Me South Africa (FMSA) is a behavioural-risk organisation dedicated to preventing gambling-related harm and strengthening psychosocial safety in workplaces and communities.

We partner with employers, industry bodies, and service providers to deliver evidence-based tools, structured interventions, and specialised support pathways that protect people, enhance compliance, and reduce operational risk.

Through our programs, we have assisted organisations nationwide to improve policy compliance, identify early-risk indicators, and support affected employees with professional, accredited services.

Our work contributes directly to safer workplaces, stronger families, and healthier communities, reinforcing our commitment to protecting the future of our nation.

Our Journey

The Evolution of Free Me South Africa

Free Me South Africa (FMSA) was founded in response to the increasing prevalence of gambling-related harm in South Africa. Emerging from the founder’s personal experience with addiction, FMSA is a fresh, purpose-driven organization committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

We are here to challenge mindsets, raise awareness, and provide practical tools and support for those affected by gambling harm. Through education, technology, and strategic partnerships, FMSA equips individuals and organizations to act responsibly, recognize risks early, and prevent harm before it escalates.

Our evolution is rooted in three principles:
Awareness – shifting mindsets and increasing understanding of gambling-related harm.
Prevention – equipping organisations and individuals with tools to identify and manage risk early.
Support – providing structured, professional pathways for those affected.

Today, our methodology integrates:
RiskAnalytix™ behavioural-risk analytics
GHR (Gamble Harm Reduction) policy implementation
Accredited financial and clinical support pathways
Nationwide training programs and community awareness initiatives
We are not merely responding to harm—we are building a national framework for prevention.
